Dear Father,
Thank you for putting people in my life that care for me and make it so clear that they love me. Those people I need to recognize more often, and I need to be able to be more grateful for the blessing you give to me through them. You put those people in my life as a source of strength through encouragement and love. I want to be able to acknowledge that more and more and not simply regard them as just people that have found their ways closer to my life. Thank you for giving me such a loving family. We've struggled a lot through the years, but you have been so faithful to us. My family's love and closeness is a truly a testament to how wonderful you are and how you are able to work in peoples' lives according to your goodness.
Father, at this time I really need your help to give me more devotion to the things I have to do each and every day. It's really easy for me right now to shirk even the most urgent responsibilities, and I don't really know what is causing this laziness. So as I continue to pray about this, please help uncover the deeper causes of this problem so that ultimately, I can find purpose according to where you desire me to go.
Time is passing so quickly. I hope I don't too caught up in the fast-paced race of life and overlook the directions you are giving me constantly. Lord, I want to hear you and know what your heart is trying to speak to me everyday.
